Making albums is free, and stays free. Credits pay for the AI Assistant, and you earn them as you go. Scroll down the way: where you stop is up to you.

Start for free

No card · 500 credits to start

  1. Amateur

    Start free, and stay free

Make complete albums by hand with the heart of the editor: its layouts, covers and typefaces, up to thirty-six frames in each, as many albums as you like. Share them by link, in your library or only with the people you invite.

    €0, always

  2. Amateur

    500 credits to begin with

Credits pay for the AI Assistant, which develops an album for you from your frames: the order, the spreads, the type and the words. One album takes 100, so you can try it five times. When they run out, earn more along the way below, or choose Enthusiast.

    +500 credits

  3. Earn

The more your albums are read, the more you earn

Every hundred different people who read your shared or public albums bring you credits. Make an album public and you get a few more.

    +10 for every 100 readers

  4. Earn

    Tell us what you think

The Edit is young and grows with what its photographers say. Send a note from My account → Feedback, or write to hello@theedit.one: we thank the useful ones with credits.

    +50 for a useful note

  5. Earn

    Get featured

Say yes to The Edit showing your album on its feed and Instagram and you get credits straight away; if we pick it, more come with it.

    +100 for a yes, +200 when featured

  6. Earn

    Bring your friends

Share your link. When a friend joins and makes an album, you both get credits, and the fifth, tenth and twenty-fifth friend bring a bonus.

+150 each, for both of you

  7. Enthusiast

Make albums with the assistant often?

Enthusiast starts with 2,000 credits, brings 500 every month, and doubles the credits for everything above. It also opens the extra layouts, typefaces and tools we add for the ones who go further, and export to Instagram and Reels. Cancel whenever you like.

    €8.99 a month, or €99 a year

  8. ProfessionalComing soon

For the ones who want it on paper

Everything in Enthusiast with 1,000 credits every month, a printed album every month, posted to your door, and new features before anyone else.

What stays free

Amateur will always let you make, share and keep complete albums, without paying.

Some layouts, typefaces and tools, and export to Instagram and Reels, are for Enthusiasts and Professionals. They’re marked in the editor, and anyone can try them while making an album. To share or export an album that uses them, choose Enthusiast, or swap them for free ones.

Albums you’ve already shared stay shared, even if you stop paying.

Paying

Payments are handled by Stripe and sold through Link, which charges your card, sends your receipts and lets you manage or cancel your plan at any time. Prices include VAT. Cancelled plans run to the end of the period you paid for. See the Terms.

Why it exists

The Edit grew out of a love of photography. Adrian, who makes it, wanted a place to share photographs and the memories behind them with friends — simply, without a feed or a crowd, the way you would hand someone a magazine you made yourself.

It is a small, independent project. If you have an idea, a question or something that does not work, write to hello@theedit.one.
